This view of Willamette Falls was created by Edgar L. Davidson of Oswego, who was both that town's first pharmacist and its first photographer. He was the son of Lucien Davidson, a carpenter who helped build many of Oswego's early buildings. Detail view 1 shows two men fishing, partly hidden behind the watermark of the full photo. Detail view 2 shows some of the buildings of Canemah, upstream from Oregon City. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon. Original courtesy of Lake Oswego Public Library.
