Mrs. Marks stops her carriage somewhere in the Oswego area, in this view taken from a boudoir card dated 1893. While the original photo gives her name, I've been unable to find any information about a Mrs. Marks in Oswego from that era. If you know anything about her, please get in touch. There's a lot of detail in the photo, both of her clothing and her carriage, as can be seen by clicking on the two detail views. While it's not totally soggy, the wagon wheel view shows quite a bit of mud sticking to the rim. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon. Original courtesy of Lake Oswego Public Library.
