Looking across the newly completed bridge, we can still see a ladder below and planks piled in the distance. Latourelle Bridge was positioned to provide a good view of the falls, upstream to the left. The bridge's braced spandrel framing is usually found only in steel deck arch construction and is unique to this bridge.
