This fifty-foot tall, 50,000 gallon standpipe was built as part of West Linn's first water project, to supply the upper parts of the newly-incorporated city. Water began to flow through the new system to West Linn residents about the middle of December, 1915. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
