Unlike the field in the 1985 movie "Brewster's Millions", at the Marshfield stadium the railroad did not cross the outfield. But it was pretty close.

The Libby Railroad ran three miles to the Libby Coal Mines, and at the time this photo was taken, both had existed for about fifty years. In this view we are looking towards the outfield, and can see the railroad trestle just outside the outfield fence.
