By 1910, the town had grown to about 40 people, and served the larger area with a hotel, feed store, school, cemetery, sawmill, liquor store, and blacksmith shop. Today, only a few buildings remain.
This small, seemingly isolated store may not have survived even till 1910, but it clearly was important enough to attract a crowd for this photograph.
