Seely served as both manager and butter maker for the creamery from 1895 to 1900. Their product was strictly butter, but they were one of the larger butter producers in the mid Willamette Valley. Being close to the Agricultural Experiment Station at Corvallis was a plus, and the creamery was featured (and this photograph was published) in the Bulletin of the Dairy Department in January, 1901.
