This nicely composed image of a familiar scene comes from a hand-tinted albertype made from a Fred Kiser photograph.
The original was laid into a booklet published by the Crater Lake National Park Company, which was formed in 1921, composed mostly of Portland businessmen. By 1922 the company owned the lodge, all related concessions, and nearby campgrounds including Anna Spring Camp.
