A couple pause in their buggy during a summertime ride along the Willamette River, with the Oregon City Suspension Bridge in the background. Detail view 1 gives us a good look at the warm weather outfits and summer hats of the people. Detail view 2 shows the blinders, bridle, and decorative fly sheet worn by their horse. Loosely woven, macrame-type material was used to help keep flies off during the summer season.
