This logging engine appears to be partly hand-made by the logging company that utilized it - particularly the wooden components.
The cab, especially, is low and compact, as can be seen more clearly in detail view 1. However, the boiler, stack, and head lamp are all first-rate, and the engine clearly had enough power for its job of hauling logs from the forest. Taken somewhere in Washington State; we do not know precisely where.
