The Wishrams were a Chinook tribe who lived on the north side of The Dalles in what is now Washington State. Fishing was a major source of food for the Wishrams, and this image demonstrates how they carried the fish back to their nearby village.
The traditional Wishram village, now part of Columbia Hills State Park, is considered to be the largest prehistoric Chinook village.
