Featured here is the Corbett Building, built about 1909 and then imploded in 1988 to make way for the current Pioneer Place development. We are dating the photo from the construction activity in the lower left, which appears to be for the Kress Building, which opened in 1928.
Notable details include the ground floor store for the Oregon City Woolen Mills (see detail view 1) and in the right background, the original Fred Meyers Public Market, opened in 1922 (see detail view 2). As this image is from a large original negative, it has lots of detail and works well for larger prints.
