A companion photo to another in this series that shows the larger part of the excursion on Medford's Main Street. Fulton's carriage is facing east at about Front Street. Charles W. Fulton had been elected as one of Oregon's U.S. Senator earlier in 1903, and was invited along to hopefully represent the new Crater Lake National Park's interests in the national Congress. Fulton is the man seated in the second row of the carriage, seen in Detail view 1.
