There are a number of postcards and stereoviews showing similar scenes, but this image is recreated from a larger print by photographer John F. Ford. The original print identifies this as Cathlamet; it is likely the Warren Packing Co., one of the first canneries along the Columbia. Detail view 1 gives us a closer look at some of the very large salmon awaiting the canning process. Detail view 2 shows some of the cans on the left, and wooden boxes they were packed in on the right.
