Details
Four young couples pose for a photo in Oswego while getting ready for some type of special occasion. Note the boutonnieres worn by two of the young men. We know the identity of two of them. Edna Kingkade is the third from the right. Daughter of a railroad conductor, she would have been sixteen in 1900. Charles Didzun is to her right. The shy smiles of the couples and their variety of poses tell me that some things haven't changed that much in 110 years. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
