An unknown performer shows a lot of leg in this publicity photo for the show "Pretty Babies", performed in Portland in the summer of 1929.
The context, of course, is the end of the roaring twenties, and very close to the stock market crash that occurred in October of that year.
The original photo came from the personal collection of Don and Darlene, an acrobatic dance team for RKO who also appeared in the Portland production of Pretty Babies.
