This photo of Edna Kingkade Bickner was taken by her husband Will, who create a number of glass plate negatives of the Oswego area. While the automobile had come to Oswego by 1912, horse-drawn carriages were still the dominant form of transportation.
Detail view 1 gives a closer look at the buggy, while detail view 2 shows off the beautiful team that is pulling it. Note the chocks under the buggy's wheels to keep everything still for the long exposure time.
