It was created by photographer Harold M. Brown, who specialized in images of lumber and shipping industries, though he also took many scenic photos. In this view he used some type of rotating camera, with a resulting width of field of almost 180 degrees. The result is a highly detailed look at the industry at the falls in the mid-1920s, starting at the new arch bridge at the left and ending at the falls themselves on the right.
