Details
Photographers Frank Patterson and Fred Kiser were competitors in southern Oregon in the 1920s. Both produced hand-tinted photos of Crater Lake; this is an example of Patterson's work.
At five by twelve inches, the original for this view was larger than most Patterson images, as he specialized in postcards, most in black and white. For a while he offered the largest stock of scenic postcards in Oregon.
