A treasure trove for Oregon City historians, this photo gives a detailed view of downtown Oregon City shortly before electricity, the trolley, and then automobiles would would change the landscape forever. Firewood was still delivered and stacked on the dirt streets in front of commercial buildings.
Both the Courier and Enterprise newspapers had offices on the right, before they combined to form the Enterprise Courier.
