The anchor rope from photographer White's houseboat can be seen tied to a tree in this view of Navy ships on the Columbia, taken and developed by her without having to leave her home on the water. Detail views 1 and 2 give us a closer look at the two ships. If you can identify either ship as to its type, or even its name, please let me know, and I'll add that information to the description here. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
