This classic image is recreated from a postcard negative that was apparently never published, taken by Ralph Eddy in about 1927. Eddy was well-known for his scenic views, and for many years he and his wife operated a postcard stand during summers at Wahkeena Falls in the Columbia Gorge. Many of his original negatives were donated by his descendants to the Clackamas County Historical Society.
