Details
This hand-tinted print and some others on this site were initially sold as part of an album titled "The Columbia River Highway, American's Greatest Scenic Drive".
Cross & Dimmitt tried various ways to market their photos - from postcards to albums to large framed prints. Many were sold at Vista House.
Clearly, they stretched the literal boundaries of their album title, as it also included scenes from Crater Lake.
