Both the vertical and horizontal versions are stamped "Winter-Luetters Pictures" on the back. The horizontal one is number 3358, while the vertical one is number 3566, indicating it was probably created second. Larch Mountain, an extinct volcano, is located to the northwest of Mt. Hood. It is a popular spot for photographers, as five mountains can be seen from its slopes.
