This is a photo of a hand-scripted version of The Lord's Prayer. At the time, taking and printing photos was a common way to reproduce artworks of various kinds, including scenic paintings.

A description on the original print states "Original wholly executed with a steel pen by Miss Una Beal, Portland, Oregon." Union (Una) Beal was married in 1876, so her ink drawing must have been made earlier.

Looking carefully at the image reveals that some details are lighter than others. This indicates that Miss Beal used either gray inks or colored inks to create those details.
