Early photos of Sisters are hard to find. This one looks west down Cascade Street, which is still the main drag, but is now referred to as Cascade Avenue.

The hotel on the right is the Hotel Sisters, opened in 1912, at the corner of Fir Street. The building still stands, and is now known as the Sisters Saloon. Noteworthy are the street trees, planted very near the boardwalks on both sides of the street.
