The Public Service Building, with its "HEAT" sign on top, dominates this view, as it dominated downtown Portland for many years, being its tallest building. While the first two buildings on the left (the Ambassador and U. S. Courthouse) are still there, much has changed. The Max light rail line now occupies the right hand side of 6th, and there are larger (and many more) trees lining this corridor.
