There's little visible development on the east side of the Willamette River in this 1902 view from the south side of the Dunthorpe Water Works. A companion photo to the view seen in "Related Photos" below, this one gives a better view of the wooden sides to the brick-fronted water works.
It also shows the ornate details in the tower at the corner. Lily White's houseboat is once again a key detail, and the same woman, likely Lily White herself, is visible at the railing. A small boathouse sits on the water upstream from the houseboat.
