This one was probably taken a couple years after the big fire of 1883. If one of you Astoria buffs can confirm the date, we would appreciate knowing. We know it's earlier than our image dated circa 1887, as detail view 2 shows the final construction of a building in the lower right, and that building is complete in the c 1887 view. Also, the long white building in the foreground has two stories in the more recent photo..
