Two couples pose for a portrait at the top of the bluff in Oregon City, with the suspension bridge and Willamette River in the background. At this time, there were few buildings on the West Linn side, and West Linn as a city did not yet exist.
To the left of the bridge is the depot for the Willamette trolley line, and heading into the distance are the electrical lines going to Portland.
