This carefully composed image of an often-photographed lake was created by Ralph Eddy as a postcard view, as he added southern Oregon scenes to his offerings.
This carefully composed image of an often-photographed lake was created by Ralph Eddy as a postcard view, as he added southern Oregon scenes to his offerings. While Eddy and his wife maintained a postcard stand in the Columbia Gorge, he traveled to most parts of Oregon to capture his photographs - especially to locations popular with automobile tourists.
As with most of our Eddy postcard views, this one is created from the original negative, and is cropped somewhat larger than Eddy's postcard.
-- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon from the original negative, courtesy of the Clackamas County Historical Society.
