A group of tourists, probably traveling by stagecoach, stop at the side of the road to Crater Lake to enjoy a lunch break. Detail views 1 and 2 shows the formal clothing typical for travelers of that time. By 1908, Crater Lake had been a National Park for five years, and was drawing an increasing number of visitors. It would be another seven years before Crater Lake Lodge opened, 1n 1915.
