This early sepia-tone photo by scenic photographer Fred Kiser features Llao Rock, the vertical cliff in the center, and Mt. Thielsen, the pointed mountain in the distance. The most prominent feature on the north rim of Crater Lake, Llao Rock rises nearly 2,000 feet above the water, and is the highest vertical precipice on the rim.
