This photo showing much of the 1903 Steel Excursion was taken by Fred and Oscar Kiser, who were the official photographers of that trip. Steel himself is standing at the right. Detail view 1 shows us Joaquin Miller in the middle and Senator Charles Fulton on the right. Eagle Point is about 12 miles north of Medford on the way to Crater Lake; this may have been the first night's stop for the expedition.
