This view of Annie Creek Canyon is reproduced from an original glass negative by Howard Tibbitts, who was based in San Francisco where he worked for Sunset Magazine. Located near Mazama Campground, the canyon can be explored today by following a two-mile trail, the southern end of which reveals the well-known pinnacles. The surrounding forest is composed of mountain hemlock, lodgepole pine, and Shasta red fir.
