This unusual view shows Crown Point before Vista House was built, but apparently after the Columbia River Highway was completed. That would date it to a short span of time in 1916.

The official opening of the Highway was on June 6, 1916, and dedication ceremonies were held at Crown Point. Construction of Vista House began later that year, and Vista House itself was dedicated on May 8, 1918.
