Details
Five siblings line up on a rustic porch - likely in a logging camp - to pose for a family portrait. Their hats alone make the photo notable.
This is a rare example of a family photograph taken by John Fletcher Ford, who is mostly known for the logging views he created on either side of the lower Columbia River. The original print is smaller than many of his logging photos, and is mounted on a decorative card backing, with the blind-stamp of the photographer.
