From the family of Olaf Indahl, this may be another of his series of views of horse-drawn delivery wagons in Portland, though it is not identified as to photographer. In detail view 1 you can see that the driver is sharing some of his groceries with his horse, to encourage him to stand still for the photograph. Many grocery stores, and indeed many stores of all types, delivered in those days. From the sign on the sign of the wagon, we can see that Gunderson Groceries was located on Albina Avenue in close-in North Portland, and was accessible by dialing RUS 1081. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
