It's "hurry up and wait" time at Hood River Depot, as passengers and freight haulers await their turn to board the eastbound train. While we've reached the teens, horse-drawn vehicles still dominate the traffic coming to the train station. Behind the depot can be seen Gerdes Lodging House, conveniently located for weary travelers. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
