Recreated from the original glass negative, this view shows one of many beautiful fishing holes in the state of Oregon. We don't know the name of the river (if you know, please let us know). Judging from the lush foliage, it's somewhere in the western half of the state. Detail view 1 shows a closeup of the well dressed fisherman with his homemade fishing pole.
Update: One of our Facebook page visitors thinks this is the Chetco River, near Brookings. What do you think?
