Looking south across the railroad tracks and depot down Willamette Street. Photographer Eddy's vantage point was to the west of the McMurphey Johnson House. Detail view 1 gives a good view of businesses supporting the train depot - a restaurant advertising "Meals at All Hours" and the local taxi service ("Phone 600".)
Further down Willamette, in detail view 2, we see a Rainier Beer sign half covering an old hardware sign, and the Hotel Hoffman and Rex and McDonald theaters.
