This Partridge boudoir view shows Takou inlet, near Juneu, a tourist destination as early as the 1890s.
This view of floating ice also features the Taku glacier on the left. Takou (now spelled Taku) Inlet is best known for the Taku Glacier, southeast of the city of Juneau.
The glacier was previously known as Schultze Glacier and the Foster Glacier, but the Tlingit name of Taku eventually replaced both names. The glacier can be seen more clearly in detail 1.
