In a location that looks much the same today, a young woman poses on a rock where the Tualatin flows into the Willamette. The original for this view is a hand-colored print from a black and white photograph. The woman's hairstyle and bathing suit help us date the photo, though I also have an approximate date from the family that shared the original. Note the dog in the lower right hand corner, and the canoe in the background. The tall prow and decorated stern on the canoe resembles a traditional Native American design. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
