Barely visible in the distance in this photo of women picnicking at Alcove Point is the lighthouse at Cape Foulweather, now known as Yaquina Head. You can see the lighthouse better in one of the Related Photos shown below. I've been unable to locate any current references to this rock formation that James Crawford, the photographer, refers to as Alcove Point. Does anyone know what it is called now? -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
