Willamette Falls from Below - c. 1890

This view of a portion of Willamette Falls from below gives a great glimpse of their basalt foundation. Located on the Willamette River between Oregon City and West Linn, these horseshoe-shaped falls are similar to Niagara Falls, and are the eighteenth largest in the world by water volume.
