This sixty-year-old aerial photo of the Bolton neighborhood in West Linn was taken as part of the early planning for what eventually became Interstate 205. Visible in detail view 1 are the bridge, the police station (and then city hall) at its west end, and the old West Linn Hotel on the left.
Detail view 2 shows the high school as it looked in 1960. Bolton was one of three small towns that joined to form the city of West Linn. It recently celebrated its one hundredth anniversary.
