Multnomah Falls is the most popular destination for car tourists in Oregon, and has owned that distinction pretty much since cars were invented.
Multnomah Falls is the most popular destination for car tourists in Oregon, and has owned that distinction pretty much since cars were invented. In this 1937 scene by Oregon City photographer Ralph Eddy, we can enjoy the classic cars, the stone lodge, and the waterfall.
As with most of our Ralph Eddy views, this one is reproduced from the original negative, and has a larger crop than the postcards he produced and sold at his stand in the Columbia Gorge.
