On the left we can see a small stack of wood pulp in front of the Hawley Pulp and Paper mill. The building to the right is old Station A, the first source of electric power at Willamette Falls. On the opposite bank are the buildings of the Crown Willamette paper mills, and Station B, the second source of electric power at the falls. I'll submit this photo any time to show that industrial photos can indeed be beautiful.
