Skylights and windows provide ample natural light for these skilled workers sorting wool for the blankets made at the Oregon City Woolen Mill.
Skylights and windows provide ample natural light for these skilled workers sorting wool for the blankets made at the Oregon City Woolen Mill. As the best-lighted room, this is the only view of the series where the photographer attempted to include people. Even so, the film speed of those days shows up some movement by the sorters.
Note the range of ages of the workers. The sorter in front and the young man pushing a cart in the background both appear to be quite young.
