This wintertime view of the newly completed Bolton Reservoir was taken by Oregon City photographer S. P. Davis as part of a series documenting the South Fork water project. It also turned out to be a well-composed, attractive photo, with a nice interplay of various surface textures. You can see in detail view 2 a thin layer of ice beginning to crystallize on the surface of the water.
